Prior to joining GBS, Philip has over ten years working in legal field as business lawyer at top tier law firms, global consulting group and commercial properties company. His broad and intensive expertise covers labor, corporate compliance and M&A transactions. Phillip has advised a large number of foreign and domestic clients on their projects in Vietnam in various industries such as renewable energy, healthcare and beauty, food and instant noodles, steel manufacturing, construction, distribution, logistics, fund management, commercial property, etc.

Ms. Xiem is an associate in the firm’s HCMC office. Her practice is focused on in-bound foreign direct investment, corporate law and tax. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Thu worked for years for a Korean firm which helps mainly Korean companies entering the Vietnam markets in various industries. At the firm Ms. Thu continues to advise foreign investors on establishing and operating businesses in Vietnam. Thu is currently acting as Director of VICLAW LTD, an associated firm with GBS as well.

Tony adds to the expertise of GBS. He is a young, energetic attorney increasing her legal knowledge with local and international experience. He has advised many clients on such issues as licensing and incorporating in Vietnam, real estate development and trade law and foreign investment.
Mr. Tony specializes in international trade law, foreign investments, commercial, and corporate law.
His most recent achievements have included advising such businesses as Berjaya Financial Center Co. (Vietnam), Ltd; Berjaya Land Berhard; Berjaya Leisure (Cayman) Limited; CSC Co., Ltd; Taiko – Daihung Distribution Company Ltd; AXIOO Distribution Co.., Ltd; Yahoo! Singapore Pte. In addition, he had advised many projects of Vina Capital Fund, Anpa Capital Fund in regarding the M&A and equity sell and trading.

Nguyen Thai Binh is the Senior Adviser of the Marketing Solution Business at GBS, responsible for marketing strategy, brand management, and promotion campaign management of GBS’s customers. He also serves as an Executive Corporate Officer of GBS.
Binh joined GBS in 2007 and has served in several management and executive positions during that time. Prior to joining GBS, he held various brand and management positions in JVC Vietnam, Sun Video Ltd., (Toronto, Canada), Diethelm, Vinamilk and ILA Vietnam.
Binh earned his MBA degree in International Business and Marketing, from the University of Hertfordshires, UK in partnership with Malaspina University-College, British Columbia, Canada. Post-graduate Diploma of Business Study from Malaspina University-College, British Columbia, Canada., Bachelor of Business Administration, Jul/1997 from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics.
